How to order Pallet Rack Online
1. Read "Putting Together a Rack Job" to get an idea of the size and
quantities of racking you need.
2. Click "Buy" to go to the buy now screen. Then Click "New Pallet Rack" to
see the New Rack Screen. On the "New Pallet Rack" Screen you can choose
which brand Pallet rack you want to buy. For this tutorial I am choosing
"Mecalux" as the brand to order.
3. To help you through this Tutorial I have put together a sample "parts list" of
the pallet rack for your warehouse.
Parts list:
9: 16' x 42" frames (lighter duty)
48: 4" x 96" beams
18: anchor bolts
The above is a typical parts list to make 1 row of 16' tall x 42" deep pallet rack
with 8 sections of 8' long beams with 3 beam levels each section.
4. Order the 9 frames by finding the "add to cart" button in the "Teardrop Style
Frames" next to the price of the 16' x 42" frame.
Click "add to cart"
After clicking "add to cart" a page will open. This is your Paypal shopping cart.
In the shopping cart you will need to add the quantities of the frames you
want.
Do this by changing the "1" in the Quantity box to a "9" and click "update
cart" this changed the quantity from 1 to 9.
Click "Continue Shopping" to finish ordering your remaining parts.
Repeat step 4. to add your beams and anchors to your cart.
5. After putting all of your products in your cart you get a good idea of what
your rack will cost. Remember this cost does NOT include Freight. Call
Glidden Systems, L.L.C. at (904) 881-9286 to request a freight quote and we
can invoice you separately.
6. Once your cart is ready and you have set up freight. Buy the Pallet rack by
clicking "proceed to checkout". Where you can sign into your Paypal
account, or click the "continue" button on the bottom left side of the screen to
enter your information and credit card.
7. After placing your order, we will contact you to set up shipping preferences
if this has not already been arranged.
